In conjunction with “China Taiping Day”, China Taiping Insurance Singapore (“CTPIS”) organised an inter-department badminton tournament for its employees in November. A team of 36 employees participated in the mixed doubles tournament which was eventually divided into knockout and finals. Prior to the tournament, all players trained hard to strengthen their skillsets – all geared up for a friendly competition! All players were competitive yet displayed unity. The superb skills of every player won rounds of applause from the audience stand which was attended by fellow colleagues – this clearly demonstrates the closely-knitted “Taiping Family” spirit. The badminton tournament inspires employees to bring teamwork, courage and perseverance into their working life.
To build a stronger team and foster closer working relationships, all departments in the organisation have organised various recreational activities such as table tennis, bowling, art-jamming etc. for teammates within the respective departments.
