Job Description:  

  • Responsible for day-to-day IT network operations and administration on network
  • Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment’s.
  • Administration of network infrastructure including, WAN/LAN/WLAN network connections, Cisco routers and switches, HP Routers, Fortinet firewall, cloud network infrastructure (AWS and Azure and Datacentre network)
  • Managing the network equipment’s lifecycle, from inventory, documentation, patching, backup and restoration, disaster recovery in accordance with MAS TRM and MAS Cyber Hygiene guideline
  • Network security enhancement implementation including vulnerability remediation.
  • Troubleshoot network issue to identify and correct malfunction, other operational difficulties.
  • Administration of IT infrastructure administration including Identity and Access management, backup and restoration, disaster Recovery and inventory/asset management
  • Provide level 1 to level 2 technical support to end user on incidents relating to systems and endpoint beside network.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the company.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Good understanding of network routing and switching protocols, OSI layers, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN and MPLS related.
  • (3 years) hands on experience of major network devices, firewall, switches and routers, load balancers, web application firewall, application delivery controller, forward and reverse proxy, brands such as Cisco, HP, Dell, Fortinet, Palo Alto and HuaWei
  • Be at least a Certified Network Administrator - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
  • Have the ability to conduct network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of software defined network is an advantage.
