Our first Life Insurance policy was incepted on 2 January 2019.

In July, we have further increased our paid-up capital to S$160 million.

On 2 January 2019, our Life Insurance business was fully operational. We have expanded to Level 18 of Springleaf Tower. Two new savings products were launched.

Upon receiving license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in August as a composite insurer to carry out a Life Insurance business in Singapore, our Group injected S$40 million to support Taiping Singapore.

We celebrated our 80th anniversary by tying up with The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund to raise fund for children from low-income families. A series of celebratory activities included a 5KM fun run and a brand campaign. Click here to view our 80th anniversary campaigns.
